we build them like they used to, but better

The Mustang took the world by storm back in ‘64 with its revolutionary design and performance. But just because it’s been over half a century, your first-generation Mustang doesn’t have to be outdated anymore.

With our expert craftsmanship and no-compromise policy, our Mustang builds are even BETTER than the first Mustangs that broke the market back in the day.

I brought my 1971 Boss 351 to the classic and customs crew, and I was very pleased with the level of their detail approach to the car. They went out of their way to bring the car back to as original as possible. I won’t hesitate to use these folks again.

My 59 Ford is a beautiful vehicle, but beneath all of that, it was an unsafe vehicle. I dropped my car off initially to have the vintage AC repaired well this shop thankfully did a complete inspection and found a defect in the original disc brake conversion that could have failed at any moment. There were several things found that were not installed correctly. Not only did they tell me they showed me. Take your car there you will be happy you did.

Rick was awesome!! I took my 67 Shelby GT 500 to several other shops prior to CCR and none of the other shops could figure out the issue I was having. Rick not only figured it out and fixed it, but he sorted out several other issues, and the car is running perfectly now. These guys are absolute experts with mustangs and they were reasonably priced and communicated very well. I am extremely appreciative and grateful for their expertise and advice, and my Shelby Mustang won’t be going anywhere else in the future. I highly recommend CCR!

Several cars that CCR worked on were on display at Dallas, Georgia. Hardy Ford show and they were amazing quality. They do fantastic work.

– Shelby Pendrak

I had some work done on my car and was very impressed with the care and the speed with which the work was done.

Rick at CCR has always surpassed my expectations with his knowledge, workmanship and attention to detail when working on my early model Mustang. Rick has completed several big projects for me over the years, and I would highly recommend him and the crew at CCR for small projects up to full restorations.

Rick and Bo recently installed lowering springs on my 1973 BMW 3.0cs. The work was done expertly, timely, and affordably. They took great care of the car. Both are obviously committed to providing the highest level of workmanship with restorations. I will certainly use them again and I absolutely recommend them for your restoration needs.

I have a 1970 Econoline that needs brake lines custom-made. Rick and Bo nailed it! The lines look beautiful and function perfectly. Now I have to fix the rest of the van to match. Ha! Not only do they do beautiful work, but they are super knowledgeable and take the time to answer questions. Great looking facility too. They aren’t cheap but worth every penny and you get what you pay for. These gentlemen will get all of my custom work!

I highly recommend C&CR. Rick did a great job on my Shelby GT 500, and kept me updated throughout the process. Would definitely use this company again.

CCR did great work on my ’70 convertible Mustang. Thanks!

– Richard Meden

Rick knows what Mustangs were when they came out of the factory and what they can become. They put a 5-speed transmission and new differential gears in my ’65 convertible. The combination was not what I originally wanted, but Rick convinced me that what he recommended was the best. After driving for a couple of months, I agree that there could be no better gearing combination. They recommend some simple changes that make the car better. I wouldn’t say that it was inexpensive, but I feel like I got what I paid for.

I bought a 1990 Fox body GT convertible new out of college and have had it ever since. It was a daily driver for years, but has been driven minimally for the last 20 or so. I’ve serviced it regularly and had it repainted once, but over the years, it had developed numerous mechanical and other issues. Classic & Custom Restorations focus is primarily on older model Mustangs, but Rick was more than happy to work on my fox body, and he did a great job with it. He started with an overall inspection of the car and clearly identified multiple mechanical concerns that I was not even aware of. Rick proceeded to get my car back into excellent running condition, and I am driving it now more than I have in years. Rick did a full tune up, replaced numerous leaking gaskets, seals and lines, repaired inoperable windows, upgraded the exhaust system, replaced the inoperable AC system, with a new upgraded system, made needed brake adjustments, replaced bad springs, replaced the clutch, made needed repairs to the fuel gauge and instrument panel as well as numerous other repairs. The level of workmanship, knowledge and attention to detail that Rick demonstrated was outstanding. His pricing was fair and he provided a thorough cost proposal and invoices during the process. He also provided detailed work logs of the work he completed throughout, which I really appreciated. I would definitely use Rick again for more repair and restoration work in the future.
